I really enjoy teaching. As
part of my PhD I'm obliged to do teaching but I don't see it as a burden
but as a privilege. I do classroom teaching in a course called
"Organisational IT implementation". But I also do project
supervision.
My suggestions for projects could be looking at the (lack of) interdisciplinary work between doctors and nurses. What are the driving forces and what are the constraints and barriers to a more enhanced cooperation and knowledge sharing. How can we support it technically, socially and organisationally? Another suggestion is getting a more thorough understanding of what implementation of IT does to a group of professional, e.g. on a hospital ward. How does it affect the way they do there professional work or how to involve them in the implementation process. But I would like to supervise projects dealing with all issues related to IT implementation in an organisational context including project management of implementation projects and of cause all aspects of effects-driven IT development and implementation. |
